03 AugAre you going to Vintage?

The first of what’s hoped to be an annual music and fashion festival takes place later this month.

“Vintage at Goodwood” is at the Goodwood racecourse (naturally) just outside Chichester. The organisers say that it’s a celebration of British cool from the 40s, 50s, 60, 70s, and 80s. So expect anything from Glenn Miller records to massive mobile phones. And maybe even some vintage bunting … although we won’t be there this year.

Acts include Mike Flowers Pop (remember him?), the Buzzcocks, Norman Jay (a fave of ours), Danny Rampling and Alvin Stardust. Plus there’ll be plenty of time to shop, including the opportunity to browse for that special vintage trinket special ‘pop-up’ John Lewis shops.

Maybe we’ll be there next year?

Vintage Goodwood is on 13, 14, and 15 August.
